Prepare a Figma component for Tailwind output
Give the converter a clear, small design before trying a complete screen.
Start with one component
Choose a card or content section with a clear hierarchy. Use meaningful layer names and remove hidden experiments from the selected area. Identify the intended layout, spacing and text styles before running the plugin; the generated result is easier to assess when the design has one obvious purpose.
Convert and inspect
Open Figma to Tailwind CSS and generate the available output for the selected design. Compare its structure with the original component. Check whether the markup describes headings, paragraphs and controls appropriately rather than reviewing only how closely it resembles the screenshot.
Integrate with your project
Paste the result into a development project with Tailwind configured. Review font availability, image paths and responsive behavior. AI-assisted improvements, themes and blocks depend on the edition available in your installation; check its current controls rather than treating a roadmap item as an installed feature.
